Founder and CEO
Mike has 20+ years of experience establishing, advancing, and scaling education and technology initiatives at public, private, and start-up educational institutions. As an edupreneur, he has been privileged to help found various educational ventures, including a research university, a business/IT school, a university innovation alliance, a teaching-learning center, a writing program, an educational technology office, and an executive education company.
Simon Chu
Chief Technology Officer (CTO)
Simon boasts a rich background in NLP and LLM, focusing on advanced areas like NER, LLM models (Llama2, ChatGPT), and unsupervised learning. With passion in unsupervised learning and text data drift detection, Simon has significantly contributed to AI advancements across various roles, including his impactful work at Ancestry, NVDIA, Walmart eCommerce, Barnes & Noble, and Sun Microsystems. Holding multiple certifications in NLP and Graphical Models, Simon's expertise is grounded in extensive experience and a deep commitment to innovating AI in education.
Matthew Henry
Chief Operating Officer (COO)
Matthew Henry was the only male in a typing course in the late 70s. That two semesters of typing, was the catalysts to four decades of technology work. From programming Eliza (AI before AI) on a Radio Shack TRS-80 Model 1 to CIO and Dean of Innovative Education of a higher education institution and a national policy and advocacy nonprofit in Washington, DC. Matthew served as eCommittee Chair at Independent Colleges and Universities of Texas.
Tim Schreffler
Director of Training and Support
Tim has worked in education technology for 10+ years. He specializes in mobile devices, GPTs, and LLMs. As a faculty trainer and technician, he has helped develop and deliver multiple professional development courses and trainings, pushing faculty to increase their technology skills. No problem has gone unsolved when assisting customers with their technology needs.
